Barnraisers Project Organizing Cohorts (Enrollment Form)

After reading the Expectations Document, are you able to fulfill each of the following commitments? [Note, if you can't answer 'yes' to any of them, please feel free to offer more context in the next question]
*
I commit to attending all five cohort sessions (alternately, if I have to miss a session, I commit to attending a make-up time with Garrett in an off-week).
I commit to completing all homework assignments in the off-weeks.
I commit to finding creative and open-minded ways to support and "root for" other cohort participants.
I commit to being assigned a cohort partner (for support, accountability and relationship-building), knowing that Garrett will trust the two of you to work out your rhythm for how frequently you check in with each other (somewhere in that sweet spot between "not ghosting one another" and "not annoying one another").
I commit to making a recurring donation to a BIPOC-led organization (commensurate to my financial situation).
I commit, through the course of the cohort, to be actively imagining and exploring a potential organizing project (it's ok if you give this a college try and still aren't completely sure what your project will be by the end of the cohort).
If, after completing the course, I did find the model useful and helpful, I commit to offer some form of support (either time, talent or treasure) as Garrett continues to launch and expand Barnraisers.
I commit to offering my open, honest feedback to Garrett, both on the course and the model more generally.
Want to share any context for your answers above?

Any additional comments, questions, worries, feedback, resources you can offer, etc.?

Do you have any other preferences we should take into consideration when assigning you a cohort? (For instance, if you'd like to be in the same group as a friend/colleague, you can share that here):
*
Option 1
Option 2
Option 3
Do you have any preferences for who you'd like to have assigned to you as a "cohort partner" (note this is primarily for those who are doing the cohort WITH another person or group already):
*
The following questions will be used for a "get to know you" book for other cohort participants (along with your name, location, pronouns and email address from above). Here's an example of how the entries will look:
"Get to know you" book example
Your field and/or job (and yes, stay-at-home-caregiver is 100% a career/field!)
*
What BIPOC-led group are you choosing to support?
*
[Optional] Do you have any favorite books/articles/podcasts/etc. that have been central to your racial justice journey that you'd recommend to other participants?
*
Imagine you were at a party (remember parties?) and you were DREADING having to do small talk, but suddenly, out of nowhere, you found somebody who could talk AT LENGTH about one of your favorite, random trivial obsessions. What are y'all most likely to talk about?
*
Either share a link (below) to a picture of yourself for the "get to know you" book, or, if you prefer, send an attachment to
